I love hats. In fact I have a collection. I display my hats both as a better way help them keep their forms and as a reminder of how much I enjoy re-imagining old things.<\/p>\n

Even the Professor gets into the act. His inventions sit on display all around our home. There\u2019s nothing better to inspire an inventor than surrounding him with his own innovations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n

These custom, auto-imagined birds are quite captivating.

I tend to believe there is a re-imagineer in all of us. Why not look around your home for some items to spruce up or re-purpose.<\/p>\n

With a few old beads, epoxy, scissors, and some old frames, I took these tired old cameos and re-created two of the most charming ladies I\u2019ve ever seen. Though from an earlier era, they could have been cherished in a Victorian home, I know they will be in mine.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n

MOST OF ALL – HAVE FUN<\/strong><\/p>\n

Set up little vignettes around the house. I think this arrangement makes a statement- as if to say I\u2019m ready to step out for an afternoon at the shops.<\/p>\n

This may be a bit far out there for some, but you have to admit the little ensemble below makes you look twice when you come around the corner.<\/p>\n

I like to call this one Waiting for the Omnibus.<\/em><\/p>\n

REMEMBER NOT TO TAKE YOURSELF TOO SERIOUSLY<\/strong><\/p>\n

It\u2019s fun to switch things up by changing hats or shoes or the likes. In doing so, you alter the personality of the entire display. This is great for special occasions.<\/p>\n
